Observations on the world today.

Hello, Blondie!

This picture was on the front page of yesterday's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

A protestor holds a portrait of Syrian President Bashar Assad as others wave Lebanese flags in a central Beirut square, Lebanon, Tuesday March 8, 2005. Hundred of thousands pro-Syrian protesters gathered, chanting anti-American slogans and waving Lebanon's flag in answer to a nationwide call by the militant Shiite Muslim Hezbollah group to demonstrate against foreign intervention and counter weeks of massive anti-Syrian rallies. Gee, why do you suppose the photographer selected this girl to center his shot around? I mean, it's not like she's exactly representative of the crowd. Look at the other faces. Do you see one other blonde? How about one other female? Hell, do you see one other protestor on somebody's shoulders?

Today's media. Phooey!

Maybe because she's cute?

Shes cute??

Really??

Wow...

It's such a fucking shame when anonymous assholes miss the fucking point.

Are you aware that twice as many protested AGAINST Syrian occupation? Or, did you miss that?

Looking at all the other faces in the crowd, I stick with my opinion that she was chosen because she was the cutest.

Why do you have to swear at others opinions? Was your statement about free speech meant only for those who think like you?

"Are you aware that twice as many protested AGAINST Syrian occupation? Or, did you miss that?"

Still not the point, dickhead. And as for the free speech part, I didn't delete your moronic post. I just justifiably berated it.
