Death By Flawed Policy

I wrote the following statement a little less than 11 months ago.
Statistically speaking, during the next presidential term, I am almost guaranteed to read at least once of a soldier from my county dying in Iraq. But since the numbers are actually excellorating, I should probably expect more.
Things happened a little faster than I had thought.

Ex-area man killed in Iraq
TORONTO - Nathan Rock, a Marine and former city resident, has reportedly been killed in Iraq.

According to Jefferson County Sheriff Fred Abdalla, deputies escorted a representative from the U.S. Marine Corps Monday evening to Toronto informing relatives Rock had been killed in Iraq.
My condolences go to the Rock family and to the families of all men and women killed in this unnecessary war.
