Flip Meets Flop

Let me see if I've got this right. When people make the comparrison between Vietnam and Iraq, Bush says, "The analogy is false." But comparing Iraq to two seperate World Wars, THAT makes sense to him.

And just last week, Bush said of the as yet non-existant Iraqi Constitution, "I'm operating on the assumption that it will be agreed upon by August the 15th." But yesterday he realizes, "Producing a constitution is a difficult process that involves debate and compromise."

I believe we can call these flip-flops.
Comments:
Not a flip-flop at all. Bush has no control, despite what the Democrats say, of the process on the Iraq constitution. That's a good thing. Now that the draft constitution has been inked, the process will move forward.

I would hope that others who read this understand this is a difficult progress, and amazing progress has been made.

Besides, Kerry has the flip-flop title, and it will take a lot for anyone to top him.
