Boortz is an idiot. In this post he tries to make a list of "facts" that supposedly undermine the argument that global warming has a human cause. The whole post is debunkable, but I want to center my attention on this one particularly obvious point. Actually, I don't even know how Boortz thinks this suggests anything to support his premise except that he tosses in the word "continued" arbitrarily.

Scientists who work on government grants are more inclined to blame global warming on the actions of man than are scientists who do not depend on continued government (political) funding.

Translation: scientists who work for the government are more free to honestly publish findings that are threatening to commercial interests than scientists who prostitute work for "private sector" companies like Shell oil.

Duh!
